We do our newborn sessions at our studio in Worli. I set things at my studio with my team, the props, backdrops & newborn outfits according to the agreed style and theme of the shoot.

Any weather is good weather since we do all our shoot indoors, in your home. In winters however, we use a heater to keep your baby warm, cozy and comfortable.

It doesn’t matter what your baby wears as long as it is loose. If not, loosen your baby’s clothing and diaper at least 30 minutes before the session. This gives time for those little imprint marks and redness to disappear. Your baby will be naked for most of the session so we want their skin to be in its pure and natural state.

For a 1-3 hours Session, you will receive 8-15 fully edited images as per your package. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that''s why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

I expect your baby to poop and pee all over the blankets and props. It happens! I wash everything after each session. If you have any extra wipes or towels handy, bring them out for the session, if not, I always have a few clean up items on hand too. Don’t stress about it.

All of those classic, sleepy newborn images we like to capture, require your baby to be in his or her deepest sleep. I would suggest that you try keeping your baby awake 30 minutes to an hour just before our session time so they can sleep through it. Although, if you can’t, that’s okay too. Don’t stress about it.

Having the baby into that ‘milk drunk’ state is the goal so, try to wait to feed your baby until right before we start. Of course, we’ll take a good deal of breaks for messes, feeding and cuddling.

Newborn sessions can last anywhere between 2-4 hours. The key to getting good images is to be patient. All you need to care about is relaxing and enjoying the quiet while my team and I work.

I have a great selection of props, hats, headbands, bowties, blankets, baskets and backdrops to choose from. I like to discuss your vision before the session so I can prepare for it and, to know if you have any special items of your own that you would like to use.

If you can bring a pacifier for your baby, even if only for the session, it will make the work much easier. Baby’s often love to suck and it helps soothe them into the poses we are looking for without disturbing them. If your baby won’t take a pacifier or you don’t feel comfortable offering one, don’t worry. I can work with whatever you decide.

We ensure complete safety by posing the baby on the floor with the prop & then photoshopping the image. A dream catcher shot like this is photographed separately & the baby is photographed separately to ensure complete safety of your baby.
